Since graduating from Loma Linda University in 1996, Rick has worked as a physical therapist in outpatient / orthopedic settings.  Starting his career in Yakima, Rick then moved to Guam to work in a PT department at a non-profit Christian medical clinic for the next 6 years.  Returning to Washington In 2006, he chose to settle with his family in the beautiful Skagit Valley.

Rick worked with clinic-founder, Harold Von Bergen, PT, for 7 years before Harold's retirement. Rick's commitment has been to continue providing the personal and caring attention this clinic has come to be known for.

Rick enjoys the small-town feel of Sedro Woolley.  When not at the clinic he likes to spend time with his wife and three children, cultivate and nurture a garden, run, play hockey, hike, camp and ski.
